Getting There

Flights

The best way to reach La Jorara is to fly into Sim贸n Bol铆var International Airport in Santa Marta (airport code: SMR).

There are regular connecting flights from Bogot谩, Medell铆n, and other major Colombian cities. International travelers can connect through these cities.

Multiple airlines serve Santa Marta including Avianca, LATAM, and Viva Air.

From Santa Marta

  1. Take the main highway (Troncal del Caribe) heading east towards Riohacha
  2. Continue for approximately 62.5 km
  3. Look for signs for La Jorara Eco Hotel on your right
  4. Turn right at the entrance and follow the private road to the hotel

Travel Time: Approximately 1.5 hours from Santa Marta
